We have a one bedroom at the BWV for the first part of our December stay. How bad are the sleeper sofas? I was thinking of putting my mom on the sofa and my little guy and I in the big bed, but we may have to let my mom have the good bed if the sofas are uncomfortable. It won't be any fun doing the parks with her if she hasn't had a good night's sleep!

My mom has slept on them and said they were okay. I wanted to take it, but she insisted. I am going in 2 weeks again to BWV and was hoping that they would be replaced, but everyone says they have not been replaced yet. I am not comfortable, in general, on a sofabed, but I am a very light sleeper. Some people say they do fine on them. BTW, I am also from Arkansas. Where are you located?

If they are the same as the ones at BCV, they are not very comfortable. My two kids used the sofa bed and complained of being able to feel the bars underneath the mattress.

My dh had the sofa bed in August. We are both too tall to sleep in anything other than a king so dd and I shared the 'bed' and he got the sofa bed. He had no problem with it. Said it was pretty comfy.

He will be getting one again next week. Dd and I get the king in the master bedroom since he snores so horribly!!!

several people have brought an aerobed to put ON TOP of the pullout.

The pullout at BWV is the only comfortable sleeper sofa I have ever slept on. Most of the ones at Holiday Inns and the like have a very annoying uncomfortable bar you can feel under the mattress. While I wouldn't go so far as to say it's as comfy as the bed I do honestly think it's decent.

One idea I have seen on the boards elsewhere: Some people find the king beds too firm, and DVC will supply you with an egg crate thingy made of foam to soften up the feel. Perhaps you can get one for the sleeper sofa too? Even if it hangs off the sides due to being made for a king bed it might help if Mom is uncomfortable.

Do yourself a favor. Bring an aero bed!!! It is much better to bring something you didn't need rather than need something you didn't bring.::yes::
