if I opened my DD's birthday present and played with it before I give it to her tonight?

I bought her a Nintendo DS and the Chihuahua Nintendogs aw: game and I'm just DYYYYING to try it out. It's sooooooo cute. I don't know how much longer I can resist it.

That's what my youngest DD wants for Christmas. And that's the version of Nintendogs she wants because it has the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel on it. That's what our dog is. It's killing her to have to wait until December!

I did it with my boys' Eye Toy 2 years ago. Played with that sucker for weeks. Put it back just like I found it (minus shrink-wrap) and they never knew.

I will warn you, you should maybe pick up that game early. I looked at several different places for it and I lucked out and grabbed the last one at a Game Stop. They said the company who makes it ran short on them. It might not be too bad by Christmas, but you never know what's going to be popular and run out.

I'd say do it! My DD has the chiwawa (sp?) one and the lab one. They are so cute. I haven't played it yet but she's always running over to me showing me a particular dog and going on and on about how cute they are. And she's right! Those dogs are adorable!

I played around with it just a little while ago and it's so cool! I guess I'll have to borrow it all day while she's in school.
