Thanks! Just what I wanted!:woohoo:

Decorations going up this week. Gifts being bought and wrapped before we go. Busy busy busy...:laundy:

:santa:You're an amazing woman Jen!! DUHGreg put up the icicle lights (they're not lit, waiting till after Thanksgiving), and I continued putting up those darn candles (setting timers, buying more new ones). We're just putting up a small artificial tree this year. Haven't purchased any presents yet. We have to get FE gifts for the kids - hopefully have them shipped to the ship. Time is FLYING!!!:upsidedow

AAhhhhh…
The advantages of living in a small apartment, having no children, only adult siblings who have no children and a partner who prefers experiences over physical presents! Christmas preparations are very easy. I do practically nothing!
I do attend Christmas eve service at church and I do not go towork on Christmas day. I somehow manage something festive for Christmas meal.

Decorations going up slowly from now to Thanksgiving.

We got back on the 19th last year to. The shopping was a super hastle.

I am doing minimal outdoor decorations which will go up Thanksgiving weekend. 95% of my gifts are already purchased as I purchase things year round.
I still need to wrap them which I will do the before the trip if I have time, otherwise they will be wrapped upon my return.

Lights, tree and decorations going up the week of Thanksgiving. As for presents, everyone is getting something from Florida....so a lot of wrapping after the trip. Card are written out, just have to get stamps and mail them. Will have to go out and buy the last minute food items for dinner.

Gift bags (lots of em!) and tissue.

we are going to start decorating this weekend!!! To get max enjoyment!!!:woohoo: We go all out on the inside but outside we will put out some net light on our fence ( we live in a town house so not much to do outside) :cool1:

I miss you!

Got all the holiday dishes, glassware, and flatware out yesterday. Hubs also brought up two boxes of decorations I hope to get put out while the baby naps today. That's in between :laundy: and :happytv:.

Oh, and finished my nephews Christmas gifts today. Even got them wrapped. :santa:

We put up a small artificial tree last weekend and a couple of Christmassy bits.
Made most of the cards.
Got almost all the gifts (last one on tomorrow) so will wrap them tomorrow night.
Planned when we'll see everyone (we're celebrating before Christmas as we're not in the UK for Christmas) just got to get some food for when my Mum comes over.

So I think we're all set! It seems to have been really easy though so I hope I haven't forgotten something :scared1: We're almost ready for the cruise too :thumbsup2

G and I discussed it and we are going to do our Charlie Brown tree again this year. Maybe put the outside lights up the weekend following turkey day. He doesn't celebrate holidays and the pups don't show much desire for it. I can soak in a lot at WDW.

We'll only be home 14 days between now and the end of December, so we've decided not to put up our tree. We also have two puppies, and don't want to end up with broken ornaments.

As far as shopping, we are only buying actual Christmas (and birthday!) gifts for my mother and mother-in-law. We're buying gift cards for everyone else, because it's easier and much less of a hassle to pack. (We're celebrating with my family in Orlando the day before the cruise, and we're flying to Connecticut on Christmas day to celebrate with my husband's family.)

:cool1:  we got the tree up and done Thanksgiving night :yay: and the house decorated the following night :woohoo: Now we have Sean's bday this week :) Now as far as Xmas shopping- not happening before we leave. I just can't fit that in. I'll just have to run hard when we get back.

I can't believe its 11 days away!!!!!

Came home from work last night and the house was all decorated out front and the tree was up! :santa: So glad all that is done! It looks so nice and really put me in the mood for Christmas. Can't wait to see DisneyWorld and the ship all decorated!

What a nice surprise...my DD and her boyfriend put my lights up on Thanksgiving...I helped with my "Charlie Brown" tree outside...then I put the tree up and did the inside of the house....it looks so nice.

We did our outside lights and put our tree up the week before Thanksgiving. We are doing last minute 'touches' around the house as we go.

Christmas presents should all be done and wrapped this week - and the ones being shipped will be out by Friday.

It's a little hectic here these days but I know once we get back from the cruise everything will be done for the Holidays and we will be able to enjoy.

Then it's time to pack for the Disney Dream Christening Cruise!!!!

I agree John it will be so nice to come back from the cruise and have everything all done!
Just need to get a few more presents for my DGD in the mail by Friday also and I will be all set. I will do all the wrapping for everyone at home when I get back.
