If you've recently jumped in any DVC pool please read on . . .

We're off to OKW in about a week and I'm curious how the pool temps there and at other WDW DVC locations are. If the pool is warm enough, my family doesn't mind a dip in the pool -- even on chilly days. I think we'll even hop to another pool if the water temp is right! (But not to SAB, of course!)

Enjoy your trip!!! We just returned home last evening - the pool at SSR was comfortable - it was the air temp that was cold. Just stay in and you will all be fine. Off to do laundry!:laundy:

I think the pool tem problem is a thing of the past. Pool Temps were great at SSR during our december trip.

My family was @ BCV mid-January and I was prepared to be disappointed with the temp of the pool-it was low 70's and cloudy for most of our trip so the air temp was not going to help make up for a cool pool. We were so happy to see that SAB was almost as warm as a bathtub-just heavenly. The majority of our visits are January ones and I am hoping this problem has gone away. I hope you find the same!

Visited SSR the first 12 days of Jan abd the pool temps were great! When it was cool outside you would see the steam rolling from the water. :cloud9:

We just returned from SSR last Thursday, and the pool temps were nice and warm (and I'm a BIG WHIMP when it comes to cool pools)!

I also put my hand in the water of the DVC pool over at the VWL, and it was also very warm.:cloud9:

Just back from OKW last week. Swimming pool temps were great! We swam easily.

Good news...they did listen to us about the pool temps! DS was thrilled.

Thank goodness! Pool temps is a big, big, big deal for DH. You want to talk about whimps! I'm glad things are warming up!

Southpoint pool two weeks back was almost low end hottub temp in the evening. We were surprised, but comfortable. :thumbsup2

We got home from BCV on Friday....SAB was "heavenly"!!!!! It also makes for a pretty "fog" show when it rains into the pools....it was beautiful.

So, did you partake chlorine and all?

Well, yes and no.....I stuck both my feet into it up to my ankles....that was as far as I dared go....but, it felt SOOOO good!!! Then, it started raining while we were there, and the steam coming off the water was quite a sight to see....it gave the pool even more of a "lagoonish" feel.

However, my dd thought the water was SOOO nice that even the rain couldn't convince her to come out. It's so much fun to go every year and compare how much bigger she is getting. This was the first time we could get her to leave the "sandcastle area". Her dad took her into the whirlpool, the lazy river, and over by the waterfall....she was quite the fish!!! :goodvibes

Last Wednesday, when DH and I went to BCV to check it out, we of course had to walk around the amazing pool. Anyway, it was REALLY RAINING when we were there, and it did give the pool a "lagoonish" feel with the steam. I'm sure we looked quite silly because we were the only ones around the pool wearing rain ponchos. I mean really, who in the heck goes to a POOL wearing a rain poncho because they DON'T want to get WET??? You're at the POOL for crying out loud!:lmao:
