We're 8 days out from our first trip to Universal -- staying at the HRH Club level -- kiddies don't know yet ...think we're off to the BCV at WDW for the whole time (we're doing that afterwards) - 4 days at the HRH first....how are the crowds at Universal???? Either way, can't wait -- crowded or not!

The crowd level gets less everyday as August goes on. You should be fine. Also with FOTL, you will have a perfect trip.

Just arrived home from a fun packed weekend at US/IOA and while the weekend was busier, Friday and Saturday were great! I'd suggest early AM if you want to just completely walk on the rides (which we did each day at open)....but Monday was so quiet for the first 2 hours, it was heavenly!
