Are there ski weeks/spring break crowds in February? We are trying to plan a trip and want to avoid the spring break crowds!
Thanks!

We are going during our winter break which is the week after Presidents Day. I would think the President's Day week would be somewhat busy.

Most school districts don't have Spring Break until mid-March (up to the begining of April).

You'll want to avoid the time around President's Day.
You'll want to avoid Valentine's Day.

At the beginning of the month, there will likely be at least one big attraction down for refurb. In previous years it has been the Haunted Mansion (to remove the tacky Xmas overlay), though in other threads people have said this takes much less time now.

We were there the first week of Feb this year and it wasn't even as close to as busy as it was when we went the last week of August. I have to say though, it wasn't as crowded, but it took just as long to get on the rides because they weren't operating at full capacity. There were also a few refurbs then. I still preferred the Feb trip because of the cooler weather though.

We have been to Disneyland every year in February for the last ten years. If possible avoid Lincoln's Birthday and Presidents' Day. We were there 2011 Presidents' Day week and we will be again 2012 as our children have holidays that week. It's tolerable if you know your way around the parks and make use of fast passes, etc. We did not find it bad at all knowing what attractions to hit first and knowing where to go. Having said that we have been there early February and had the parks to ourselves. The parks were so empty we had our own boats for Small World and Pirates and the Castmembers were sending every second boat out empty.

My older son has president's week off school, but I am considering taking him out of school earlier in the month...he's only in 1st grade...and we'll have a 2 year old with us, too.
I know how the FPs work and such, but I am not looking forward to crowds with the kids! Might be worth going earlier in the month!

Our family likes the first week of Feb. The crowds are low, especially during the week. Are there more refurbishments and less entertainment...Yes. But the lack of crowds more than makes up for it.
