How are the buses at AKL vs ASMU

We are currently staying at ASMU suites with free dining. We could book AKL room only discount with bunk beds. We last stayed at a value in 2003. Bus service seem to be a issue for us. We aren't pickey we have stayed at POFQ,CS,WL,SS and POR. Never really had a bad bus issue. Tell me how the AKL bus service is?

We stayed at AKL in April/May of this year and had great bus service. One anomoly was a DTD visit in the middle of the day. We waited 27 minutes for a bus to arrive. Other than that we experienced 5-8 min waits for busses at the AKL stop. Rides were less than 5 mins to get to AK, 12-16 mins (quickest - longest) to get to Magic Kingdom, 13-16 mins to get to DHS and 14-15 mins to get to EP. We thought they did a great job and only had to stand a couple of times. They now have the AKV added to the route, but that only adds about 2 mins to the ride. We would not hesitate to stay there again and utilize the bus system. Good luck deciding.

We just got back from a split stay at Kidani Village and BLT. I have to say that, with the exception of going to MK or Ft. Wilderness, I thought transportation was much better at AKL. Buses are buses and sometimes you have to wait a bit, and sometimes it's frustrating when your bus is the last to arrive (isn't it always, though).

The main difference between all stars and AKL is that there is no organized line for the buses, its more of a regular bus stop with benches, so it can be more chaotic when the bus arrives. But if you'd rather sit than stand in line, it's much better.

Overall, it didn't take more than 15 minutes to get anywhere. Alternatively, the monorail from Epcot to BLT took us nearly 40 minutes

We stayed at AKL in April for 9 days and had fabulous bus service. Never waited more than 10 minutes and only stood a coupe times. Like a pp our longest waits were going to/from DTD.

Stayed at AKL this past month.
LOVE the buses there. Only 1 meeting place for the bus pick ups, unlike MOST value and mods that stop at every section.
Stood only ONCE.
I would recommend AKL.

Thanks everyone we are staying at the AKL. We use the bus transportation alot. Because we usally go back to the room in the afternoon for the kids. So bus transportation is important to us.
