Easter Week is the second most crowded week, next to Christmas. We were there March 21st through the 30th, 2005 (with Easter being on the 27th). From the 21st through about the 25th, it was manageable. Disney did a very good job making preparations for the crowds. For example, MK opened at 8am instead of 9am every day, which made EMH start at 7am. If I am not mistaken, I think there were AM EMH in MK everyday that week. Also, the park was open until 12am, making EMH until 3am! The 27th was Easter, and the Monday after that, forget it. MK closed to capacity at 11:30am and by 1pm Blizzard Beach was closed as well. Disney was packed to the gills, but we found other things to do, like resort hopping, mini-golf, and the pool! I don't know, maybe it's just me, but something about big crowds just adds to the whole Disney experience. I've been when it's dead (like in January), and while it's nice not to have to maneuver through people, the parks close early, there is only one parade each night, if your lucky, and it feels like something is missing. With fast passes, ADR's, and an afternoon break, the crowds become just part of the scenery. I loved my Easter Week in Disney!!!! (Tip:: It does get busier the week after Easter, so if possible, try to go the week leading up to Easter.) Have a magical time!
