How are 60 days+ FP looking right now?

Was wondering how fastpasses are looking right now for those booking for spring break dates? Like March/early April? Our trip is the week leading up to Easter and I am trying to anticipate what days I am likely to be able to get SDD, FoP, 7DMT.

I just had my FP day on Tuesday for late March/early April. AK day was 60 +3 and DHS has 60 +4. No problems getting FoP and SDD for early afternoon on those days. There weren't any morning slots, but early afternoon actually works just fine for us. No technical issues. Made it to work on time!

P.S. We are a group of 4.

I made my FP+ reservations on Tuesday morning for my 3/30-4/2 trip and it seemed that all rides in Magic Kingdom and Epcot (the only parks I'm doing on this trip) had pretty much complete availability. I had no problem getting everything I needed on the first try!

We booked last week for check in on March 28. For 3 people.. we booked FP at starting exactly at 7:00 AM eastern at 60 days

At 60 days, the only 7DMT was 7PM
We got SD at 60 +3 at 6PM
We got FOP at 60 +2 10:30AM
60 +1 FOP or SD was sold out so we got everything that we needed at Epcot Soarin etc

After we booked SD and FOP, we we went back and filled in the rest. To be clear we did SDD and FOP first thing before going back to do 7DMT or anything else

I was up to book at 7am yesterday for 4/1 - 4/5. Everything at MK, Epcot, and DHS was very available except for Slinky Dog. Our DHS day is 60+4 and that was unavailable not only that day but the whole trip except evening of 4/5 (which doesn’t work since we’re leaving).

We’re not going to AK so I didn’t check those times. I imagine FOP was the same as SDD.

I was shocked how much was available. I may have even been a day or two late in booking and I got late day FOP on my day 60, SD was also no problem. This was for mid march.

Can I ask what time is early afternoon? I only ask because we typically leave the parks around 1 or 2 for a midday break.

It looks like FP's are getting a little tougher going in to April. It varies a bit each day, but SDD and FOP are ranging from 60+3 to 60+6. It also depends on group size and time of day. Groups of one or two are easier while three or more more difficult. If your group is three or more I would plan for 60+1 for 7DMT, 60+4 for FOP, and 60+5 for SDD if you want morning times. All other FP's are pretty easy at 60.

Good to know. I have a group of 5. Ideally, early afternoon I would like 12:30-1:30 I currently have HS at 60+4 and AK at 60+5 in our itinerary.

My booking window opened today and I was unable to get SDD at 60+5 (right at 7am).
I got everything else with no problems.

I was really hoping for SDD fp+ (even an evening one). We’re rope droppers but the reports I've heard about TSL rope drop have made me want to avoid it.

I think at the end of the day, you just never know because of statistics of the day or hour or ride. Your should always just sign in when your window opens and do 60 +max for SDD and then work backwards as +3 might bring better luck than +4 or 5.

When we made our FP+ last Sunday per our post above, it was just me doing the FP+ ressies, and we got greedy and wasted time for that matter. We did the following in sequence at 7AM last Sunday:

First tried SDD +1 (nothing)
then tried SDD +2 - nothing
then tried SDD +3 - got 6PM slot
Then tried FOP +1 - nothing
Then tried FOP +2 - made a mistake and wasted some time
Tried FOP +2 again and got a 10:00AMish....
Tried 7DMT at 60 and got 6PM
Had no problems with the rest....

Some points to conclude here:
1) We wasted some time trying SDD + less than max, and FOP with less than next max
2) We wasted some time with mistakes
3) It was only me (DH) making FP+ - I don't know the answer to this, but if more than one person works in close contact (both you and another making FP+ at same time), you might get better results...

Another reason to keep hopes up is this: As alluded, availability for any ride and any time is statistical outcome based on both dependent and independent variables. At that moment at 7:01 EST, so many factors could go into availabilty. Here is another one: Date: Easter is fairly late this year. Obviously Easter weekend will be packed, and weekends are always more crowded: It isn't a given that the farther you move from April 1 towards Easter that the crowds will be increasing to the day. There could be a dip due to lateness of Spring break.

12:45 and 12:50. We used to rope drop, but now we sleep in a little and arrive after the mass stampede, so this timing works.

Wow.. We're going 3/12 and 60+1 days SDD was gone! Everything else was available, though.

I think most threads indicate that SDD is typically +3 or longer so not surpised at non avail at +1

It's hard to guess, but I always try to start with FOP or SDD at 60+5 and work from there. Once I have them in place I can look for anything earlier.
