If they won't release 2008 rates (so I can book my package?!)...

Seriously - I NEED to get Cinderella's Royal Table - and my 180 day mark is approaching Really Quickly!

You don't have to have a resort reservation to make ADRs. People who just go to Disney for the day make ADRs. You will have to reserve CRT with a credit card whether you have your resort reservation number or not. Don't worry. All will work out! :wizard:

Oh - Thanks ;) Now I feel sort of silly...

I will call for CRT on day 180 - regardless of package rates!

I didn't realize it was so simple :lmao: :cool1: :thumbsup2

That's interesting.

I called on my 180 day mark and they asked me for my reservation number--I was told I couldn't make ADR's without it this far out, I think it was something like 120 days (not exactly sure). I didn't have it, since I was waiting on the 2008 rates to reserve a vacation. But, I contacted my TA, who went ahead and reserved a room for us using the 2007 rates and will adjust my credit card for difference in price when the rates come out, or switch us to a package if that's what we want. At least I can be guaranteed a room, and I have a reservation/confirmation number to make my ADR's....

Hmm...maybe you are right about that! :flower3: Maybe the 180 is only for WDW guests and offsite people have to wait for 120 days. Sorry to the original OP for giving you the wrong info. When I answered, I was thinking more about the fact that I have made ADRs without a resort reservation. I wasnlt think much about the 180 vs. 120 thing. I'm sure someone on the DIS will confirm this soon.

Anyone can book an ADR at the 180 day mark. The dining CM will need a reservation number only if you are making reservations for 180 days "plus 10".

Meaning that if you call 180 days from your first day on property you will need your reservation number to make ADRs for any day other than that first one. In essence they are allowing you to book ADRs for the other days you are on property more than 180 days out.

I would also suugest a practice call a few days early... You can also verify with the CM as to the actual date that you can make your ADR for CRT... Plus you can ask your question about getting ADR's without being booked yet.

Have a Great Trip,

Mark
