How accurate is the weather 10 days?

I have been watching the Orlando 10 day forcast. Was wondering how accurate they are. Seems like good weather for us so far. I am sure it can change before the 1st of Nov.

When we went Oct. 8-14, it was pretty accurate by the day or two before we left. Too many things change 10 days out when I first started checking. The temps were right on the money, and rain forecast moved back a day (I guess the front moved faster over Florida). So check again the day before you leave and you should be good to go!

It's often quite a struggle for them to get the weather right from one day to the next.
I wouldn't put much stock in a 10-day forecast.

The temperatures will be within a few degrees of the prediction. Rain on the other hand is harder to predict. You may get showers with a low chance of rain and nothing with a high chance.

Yep...the rain thing is pretty iffy to forecast. Keep in mind (if I have understood this correctly) that, for instance, a 60% chance of rain does NOT mean it is likely to rain for 60% of the day. It just means that is the likelihood of SOME rain that day. Pack layers, pack a rain jacket or a cheap poncho ( a lifesaver when it is yucky weather), and have fun!

My sentiments exactly. They do not seem to be doing a very good job lately.

In December 2004 we left for the airport on a Saturday morning. I checked the forecast on Weather.com. Sunny and in the low 70s all week.
Yes, it was like that on that same Saturday, but it turned quite cold. It was downright frigid on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. They were right about it being sunny, but way, way off on the temperatures. Brr.

I'd just play it by ear and look at the local forecast in the morning before you head to the parks. You'll have a blast regardless of the weather.
