How accurate is the availability forum

Just wondering how accurate the forum on resort availability is. I am interested in a few days at either Hilton Head or Vero Beach in June and it looks like there are a lot of days open. Is this pretty accurate???...I thought it would be harder to find something open this late.

That forum only shows those who have attempted for themselves and is not a true picture of what is available at any given time. Please take the information with a grain of salt and do not use it to determine if there is definitely availability. Thanks!

The availability forum is much more accurate about what is NOT available than what IS available. It is based on people not getting what they want to post.....so if it shows availability, you have a possibility of getting something, but with the understanding that it just means no one has reported it isn't available yet.

When you see "no reports", it simply means that no one hear on the Dis has reported anything regarding availability for that time period.

Tried at 7months for most of the summer at VB-- 2brm --and there was nothing. A few days here or there, but no full weeks.

People change their ressies all the time, tho, so good luck!

I didn't find it to be accurate for the first week of April. I think it is more accurate for the days that are not available than for days that are.

Don't forget that those dates that are listed as Not Available now, may become available later as waitlist requests come through. It's a pretty good gauge but I would always double check with MS...
