How about your feet at Soarin?

Hi everyone,
Have a question about Soarin. Is it true your feet are just hanging in the air during the show? Or is there something you can put your feet on?
I am very curious about this one.
Thanks again :wave2:

If you are wearing flipflops, you can remove them before you "take off" as well =)

Another question to this.......If I'm in the second or third row, where are the other riders feet compared to my head?!?! I mean, are they right over my head? Do I need to make sure I have a pedicure and make sure my feet don't stink before I ride it?!?! :earseek:

Last thing I want is someone's stinky feet near my head, or my feet (which being at the park and walking around, could possibly be stinky) over someone elses head.

Chris

After walking around all day sweating in the park - can you imagine what feet would smell like!!!  I don't think a pedicure would help anything!! Surely feet aren't that close to you - I'd like to know this too!!

You can see feet, but you can't smell the feet! They are far enough away not to really bother anyone. I can tell you that for someone afraid of heights, I had a rough time the first ride of Soarin'. After that first experience, though, I really enjoyed the ride.

the feet are no where near your head - I'd have flipped I have a foot phobia. My DD took her sandals off and stored them below the seat prior to ride.
I think there was an overhead like canopy above each row. When the rows are on the ground I would say there is at least 10feet between them which will be the distance from there feet to your head. It wasn't an issue for me.

When the ride gets into position, the row in front of you will be above and ahead of you. They are not close at all, and yes, there is a short canopy.

The feet are nowhere near you, so you dont have to worry about someone else's stinky feet (or your own!!). In fact, my favorite part about the ride was being able to take of my flip flops and ride barefoot. Especially when we flew over the ocean; I felt almost as if I could dip my feet in the water!!!

Being barefoot was one of my dd's favorite things about Soarin'!! She loved that she left her flops on the floor, where she started, and came right back to them. And had that free feeling of being barefoot up in the air. We rode on the 2 bottom lifts and didn't notice any feet above us either time. If you look up, you can see them, but the scenery unfolding in front of you won't let you look up!!!

No foot oder detected when we rode over and over in May!!! We did happen to really notice the dangling feet when we rode in rows 2 and 3...row 1 rocks!!! No feet and you feel closer to the action! What an awesome ride this is no matter which row you're in - have fun! :flower:
