Just had to let everyone know about the Iowa Hawkeyes dominating the Florida Gators.

Anytime a Florida college loses it is a good day, and when my Hawkeyes are the one beating them it makes it a great day.

Nobody responded! I'm a Nebraskan now, but originally an Iowan and my whole family watched and cheered! My dad goes to ALL home games! They did go to the bowl game last year, but we won't talk about that. My cousin was there this year, he lives in Florida now, but he wore black and gold that day!!!

Hi, I am a Hawkeye. Im from Cedar Rapids-Marion, Iowa, and went to college in Iowa City. That was a long time ago but Im still a Hawkeye. I live in Wisconsin now and am a big PACKER FAN also.

I lived in Iowa for 10 years and became a Hawkeye fan. Even though I haven't lived there for quite a long time I still follow what's going on with them and the bowl win was a great thing! DH, on the other hand, is from Nebraska...who knows what's going on with that coaching situation.

I'm a huge Husker fan - we did win our bowl game too. Even without a coach. I think Pellini was great and needs to be asked to stay. At least we're not Nutts

GO HAWKS!!! This avenges the loss by the Hawks to the Gators in the '83 Gator Bowl which I FROZE to death at! I've been a Gator-Hater ever since then. They had the rudest fans I ever encountered in 5 years of college marching band.
(I would have responded earlier but I just got back from the land of Hawks last night. We watched the game in a bar in Iowa City and had such a great time!! )
Love my Hawkeyes!!
Now if we can just keep Ferentz. I figure he'll stay until his son is done playing for the Hawks.

From Gator country, I just wanted to congratulate the Hawkeyes on a game well-played and prepared for! Bananiem, just wanted you to know that there are many Gator fans out there who are not as rude as those you encountered many years ago! I appreciate good football, and unfortunately, my Gators cannnot win every game! Congrats to all Hawkeyes fans! Your victory was well-earned!
