How about AK to DtD West Side, with an ECV?

I just booked an early show, 6 PM, about 5:15 arrival time, at La Nouba. We will be finishing up a day at AK, leaving after the 3:45 parade. I will have an ECV. There will be four of us...my daughter, me and 2 young grandsons.

Any recommended best way to get from AK to La Nouba? This will be next week.

Thanks.

I think that your best bet would be to take a bus to the AKV, get off at Jambo House. Get the DTD bus from Jambo House, the reason I say get off at Jambo, it is the second stop coming from the parks but the first pick up going to DTD, it will make it a little easier for you that way.
I think you are giving yourself a good timeframe for your travel time.

Thanks, Helen. Good advice.

Now I am thinking, with the hassle of the transportation, to maybe just head back to our resort, the Swan, and leave my ECV there for the night. I can walk some, just not the distances that the parks entail. From the Swan, maybe take a taxi to and from Cirque, making it easier and quicker too.

Taking a cab would be your best bet. The cab can drop you right off at Cirque. Not having the ECV will limit you though if you want to visit DTD.

Since you can handle the walking, I'd do this. You would only have to load and unload the ECV on one bus, not two, and you wouldn't have to worry about it at all for the evening since you will be cabbing it. It should also take less time, since you will only be waiting for one bus. There is seldom more than a few minutes wait for a cab, since the cabbies are usually waiting at a nearby location. To me, the cost of the cabs would be more than worth it for the convenience.

Have fun!

Exactly what I was going to suggest Dan. After the show, you can either head back, at a leisurely pace, to the bus stops, or just get another cab. It is really a short ride back to the S/D!! Under 15 mins!!!

Thank you all for your comments and confirmations. As I said, I can do moderate distances, just not endless standing, and endless walking. As as for visiting more of DtD afterward, I looked on the DtD map and searched on the Disney website for places to eat nearby, with little kids, and Wetzel's Pretzels and Haagen-Dazs looked good for a evening snack, and not to far from Cirque and the taxi area.

Again, thanks.
