How about a bit more non Disney or Universal content?

I have been listening to the DIS Unplugged podcasts for many years now, and can remember the days when it was just one show that covered all Orlando attractions, not just Disney and Universal.

However, it has just occurred to me whilst planning my next trip for next year, that these days the content on the shows seems almost exclusively about Disney or Universal, in their respective podcasts. I'm pretty sure they used to do more about other attractions, especially SeaWorld.

Just occasionally I would like to see a bit more content about the other Orlando and Florida attractions, that would be useful for holiday makers such as myself that come to Orlando for long holidays (18 nights in my case) and will be taking in more than just Disney and Universal. The SeaWorld parks, Busch Gardens, Legoland, KSC, Gatorland, even smaller amusement parks such as Fun Spot, could all be useful sources for content.

This is something which Tim Tracker is very good at - he often goes to some of the other attractions, which makes interesting vlogs.

If they covered more Florida attractions I'd like those to be separate as well.
They did formerly have a show called The Trip, hosted by Teresa and JeniLynn. It did just this. They covered offsite restaurants and attractions and maybe some shopping venues (I don't remember). I loved the show but it really didn't do anything to bring in business since they weren't promoting anything that the agency sells.

I miss The Trip.

And yet, they are doing Living in Orlando videos....

Though they probably get something of some sort from the real estate agent that's on the show.......

I would imagine the DIS must have some financial relationship with Eric and his agency, just as they do with the timeshare resale place that sponsors the DVC content.

Something called “the Dis” should probably stick primarily to Disney. Even Universal is a bit of a reach sometimes. There are plenty of other YouTube channels out there about Orlando in general.

Does he have a podcast or just a YouTube channel?
I know they've done what they call "podcasts", but I've only watched them on YouTube, so not sure. Since I'm pretty sure they would use the same "brand name" anywhere, maybe check your favorite podcast listening site for "The Tim Tracker" or just "Tim Tracker"?

I will say, however, the things I have watched that they have called "podcasts" as opposed to their daily "vlogs" have all been about random subjects, and not Disney, or Orlando related at all. Some have actually bored me a bit - supernatural and ghostly phenomena is one I remember fast forwarding through, although I did enjoy another one about childhood toys played with. They have not done that many they have labeled "podcasts", and I'm sure with their son's birth imminent, you might not see that many more, as they're going to be hard pressed just to keep up their daily schedule.

Not sure if their more Disney/Orlando content are available in just audio format. Hope that helped, at least a bit, - I am a total neophyte when it comes to content, and especially differences in format/availabilities/delivery system, etc.

Tim Tracker does all Orlando.
I like the Tim Tracker but he is mostly positive about everything, which can get a bit cloying after a while. In fact I've stopped watching him now I've found the DIS. You certainly won't find any Pete style rants that I think a lot of us like so much. Tim's a bit more 'wow this is neat' x10 in the same video whereas the DIS crew will be very honest if they don't like something; I prefer the DIS team's approach.
