How 1 trip, became 2! Trip Report-Updated 1/10

I hope Piper won't be on them to long. I can still send her something. I leave on the 15th with the family for a long weekend. I know she likes the Genie. Any other characters?

Ugh! For your experience at the Land..I cannot stand rude people, esp when they know going into it that it's a busy day! I love all the Christmas pics at the World Showcase..so pretty. Other than the Genie, Jasmine, Minnie and Daisy are the tops, I think..as I said though, she would love just getting a postcard! Just very easy to please. Can't wait for your next update

Day 2- December 22
We woke up at 7:30am to start getting ready for the day. After getting ready , we made our way to the Food Court for breakfast. Sorry, no pics as I was starving and just wanted to eat. I had the Breakfast Platter, which was very good except that most of my potatoes were raw. After eating breakfast, we joined the line to head to the Magic Kingdom! Once we got the park, our first ride was…

Next up was Pirates, but I didn’t get any good shots from the our voyage. After pirates, we headed over to the Haunted Mansion. We literally walked straight onto the ride. After the ride, we decided to hit the bathroom and then walk through Fantasyland. This place was packed. Small World had a wait of 80 minutes, so we decided to head over to Tomorrowland. Once in Tomorrowland, we rode the TTA.

This ride I sadly won’t be able to ride for awhile.

After our ride on the TTA, we got fastpases for Buzz and then went for a relaxing ride on the Carousel of Progress. This ride is always a great way for us to relax and get away from the crowds. We then decided that we should get something to eat, so we headed over to Pecos Bill’s Café. I got the BBQ Pork Sandwich and my DH got a Cheeseburger. I’m sad to report that this meal did not sit well with me. I ate about a ¼ of the sandwich and then I started to get nauseous. The smell of the BBQ sauce was making me so sick. (Not good for a girl, whose family is from the South and BBQs all the time.) I ahd to stop eating and DH ended up eating some of it. We then left and started walking around Adventureland. The fresh air was doing wonders, because I started to feel better. I decided that we would go into the Tiki Room, since DH had never been there before. I knew what we were in for but DH didn’t. When we left, he said that it “was a complete waste of time”. Haha! We then made our way over to MainStreet to get a seat for the parade. We got a great seat on the curb by Casey’s across from the Ice Cream Parlor. I started to get hungry so, DH went in and got me some Corn Dog Nuggets. This was the view we had for the parade.

Then , the parade started. This is one of my favorite parades.

DH’s favorite part of the parade:

After the parade, we made our way over to Buzz to use our fast passes. We also picked up new ones before entering. Then after the ride, we had a quick snack of a soft pretzel and drink. We then decided to walk around the park and just people watch. By this time a lot of the attractions were over an hour wait with fast passes either gone or very late. We walked through Fantasyland and then into Froniterland, where we took the train to Mainstreet. Here is some pictures from Mainstreet.

As we crosses the street, the “Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It” Parade was coming out, so we watched for a bit.

After this we went into many of the shops and then over to use our Buzz fast passes. I beat DH this time. No pic of score though. We then ate dinner at the Noodle Terrace before heading over to find a stop of SpectroMagic and Wishes.

When then made our way out to the buses to head home for the night. It had been a long, yet fun day.

Day 3- December 23
We woke up early and checked out , but we had breakfast at Chef Mickey's!
We were seated within 5 minutes of checking in. Then, our server took our drink order. She told us to stay there because they were bringing the characters over to us, since they were just about finished with our section. First up was Chef Mickey himself!

Then, Minnie came over. She looked at DH and then my ring. She pointed to my ring and motioned to Mickey. He just shoke and hung his head. I wish I had a video of it. It was to cute!

Next up was my favorite dog, Pluto!

At this point, we still had Goofy and Donald to see but they were in a different section so our server said to go ahead up to the buffet. Right after DH left, Goofy came over.

Goofy sat in DH's chair and waited and waited and waited, but DH was gone along time so he had to move on. DH finally came back and a CM came over to get us to take us to Donald. Otherwise, we would have to wait 40 minutes before he returned. NO WAY! I am a pregnant, hungry woman and I was on a mission. So we headed over to where Donald was.

I love Chef Mickey's! The Turkey Hash was incredible! Yummo! After our delicious buffet, we headed over to the Grand Floridian to check out the decorations.

Before we left, I had to make a quick stop at the Harley Store in Downtown Disney. I was on a mission to find my Dad a long sleeve Harley shirt. They are very hard to find down in South Florida. Well, mission was accomplished and we were on our way home.
