"Hoverboards" in the Parks

We noticed someone on one of these new "hoverboards" at Magic Kingdom, he was going pretty slow and wasn't causing any problems but I was wondering what the policy was on motorized transportation in the parks aside from the scooters.

I know Britain recently banned these things for use on public sidewalks so I was just curious

Strictly against WDW policy.

If It's what I think it is it falls under the No Segway rule.

• Wheeled mobility devices with less than 3 wheels and devices that cannot maintain stability and balance when stopped, unpowered or unoccupied. Training wheels or similar modifications are not permitted.

How the heck did they get that thru security?

We've notice more and more things making it through the turnstiles that are not allowed. The worst was the kid who was ridding their scooter in MK. The parents were just letting the kid zip pretty fast up and down the tomorrowland bridge. I was shocked the kid didn't hit anyone. No CMs were around so no one stopped them.

If they freak out about wheelies, I can't imagine they'd knowingly let something like this...

into the parks.

Saw a guy wheeling a full sized hard plastic cooler while in line for the safari last month. What the heck, how did that get by security, and what are you gonna do with it on the rides.
I can't see those boards being allowed.

We saw 2 guests that had to leave theirs with Customer Relations at AK a few weeks ago!
