Hover-Over Preview Not Available on Chrome on WIN 8.1?

If I hover over without clicking on a thread in IE I can see a preview of the post (first few lines). This is not working for me in Chrome. Is there a way to show this hover-over preview in Chrome? TIA!

I can see a preview when I'm in Chrome. As well as IE.

Interesting. Windows 8.1? I wonder if I need to change a setting somewhere.

I have windows 7. Can't really help you with what/where settings may need to be changed (not really tech-savvy)

I'm using Chrome on Windows 7 and have no problem. I think our desktop upstairs has Windows 8, and I know it works fine there as well. I do occasionally have an issue with the hover preview not showing, but it tends to be when I've been doing a lot of opening/closing files or cut/paste (using my work computer ) -- so I assume it to be a memory issue. Seems to always correct itself the next time I boot up.

Not sure why it's not working for me in Chrome running Windows 8.1. IE works fine and my Windows 7 laptop works fine.

I have disabled all the extensions on Google Chrome, re-booted, opened up Chrome without anything else running, and it's still not working for me in Chrome. I'm running the latest, most up-to-date version of Chrome.
