We are moving from the east coast to Houston, Texas. July we will be driving from Houston to WDW for the first time. I have read some previous posts on the subject, but have some questions...
How far is it to Pensacola? About 8 hours or so?
How far from Pensacola to WDW? How far from Lake Mary to Pensacola?
I am trying to determine how long the trip will take in its entirety so I can decide whether to spend the night somewhere or go directly to WDW.
If I decide to make a stop, I am trying to see where the best place to stop would be. In the past, driving the east coast to WDW (down I95), we usually stop in Georgia, which is about a 12-13 hour drive for us. We grab dinner and then relax and go to sleep. Not any sightseeing.
This trip will be different since we have never done it. Not sure about traffic in any of the major cities we will be passing through. I am not even sure of the way to go. Guess I'll check AAA for that.
