Anyone going? I picked up tickets for ZZ Top on March 4th

I haven't been to the livestock show in forever. Won't get to go this year either :( Y'all have fun !

This will be my first time in about twenty years. My SO has never been so that was one factor in deciding to go this year, the other was that I haven't been inside Reliant Stadium yet and want to see it :D

I think we're going to take the kids to the fat stock show, but not the rodeo proper. You don't have any extra George tickets, do you?

The short answer is no. ;) Did you buy tickets to park or are you taking the shuttle?

I'm going to do the shuttle. We started taking it to Astros games this past season and it is so much nicer than trying to park, and then try to get out of downtown after the game. I figure the traffic around Reliant will be even worse so I'm going to let Metro do the driving.

We dont have any tickets yet but I would love to see Brooks & Dunn. I wonder how the view is from the nosebleed seats??

I'd also like to see Brooks & Dunn or Alabama. But I don't think I'd be up to fighting the rodeo traffic twice in one week. :(

I miss the Houston Rodeo. :( The Dallas area is cool but Houston wins when it comes to entertainment IMO.

My son would have enjoyed Toby Keith. As for me, I could definitely go for Bon Jovi! :teeth:

I wonder how the view is from the nosebleed seats??

I've head that it is not too bad. Reliant was designed so that you could get a good view from anywhere in the house, unlike the Astrodome. I think the Houston Texans website has a virtual tour of the stadium so you can see what the view would look like from where you would be sitting.

DS #1 is going up there to see Kenny Chesny on the 27th.
