Housewarming Gift---Need Suggestions!!

My neighbor is having a housewarming party tomorrow and I need help deciding on what to give them. I have only talked to them about 3 times since they've moved in so I have no idea if they drink wine.

Please give me some suggestions of new neighbor housewarming gifts.

I would take a plant for indoors or for their yard (like a small rosebush or hydrangea). I often give a bird feeder as a housewarming gift - that is usually a nice surprise for the new homeowner.

A Yankee Candle...preferably Buttercream and maybe an outside welcome mat for their door?? I got a welcome mat from someone for my housewarming years ago...but I thought that was nice gift....

I was going to say the same thing. We don't drink wine and have like 10 bottle in the cupboard and that was 10 years ago.

Flowers or plants.

plants are good for some people but some people really don't like or can't keep plants.....unless you know they are plant people, I would stay away from indoor houseplants...the outside plants though sound good

Oh....also, and I don't know if it is popular in your area but those flag kits (along with a couple flag) that you hang flags on for different occasions....

id say candles too but watch out for allergies....

ok i dont know how well you know them with only 3 times... but .... what about a Pot, Potting Soil, Seeds, Spade, Watercan, & Gloves...

or.. a Laundry basket with Towels...

or.. cake pans and cake mixes and iceing and candy decoration

Love the idea of wind chimes....we have received them as gifts and given them as gifts.
My second choice would be a bird house or hummingbird feeder.

set of nice placemats/table runner....I guess if you know what kind of table they have....My MIL always gets me different "occasion" ones every so often....I love them....she also gets me matching mantel scarves with them too

I really like this idea! Throw in a map of the area and some "top places to go" lists and you are all set!

I agree on the HD card! Also gives you the chance to swipe some lgmhpcs!
