Anyone had a great time with a rental house? Any place to find them besides VRBO and Orlandovillas? We are planning on going next November with my 2DD and a house makes more sense with room and expense, plus of the 8 days, we are doing 4-5 of wdw and 1-2 with universal and 1 at sea world.

We rented a house this past March and it was great. We rented through www.Homeaway.com.

We are renting a 5 bedroom house from Homeaway.com in Nov. We have rented in the same general area(Hampton Lakes) several times. We have found it to be very convenient to stores, food, etc. Very easy to get to WDW

We rented a house last March in Davenport for an incredibly reasonable price, it was very nice, four bedrooms (2 were masters) and a pool. It had 3 bathrooms.

My family rented a home a few years ago due to bringing our dog with us. We booked through justfloridavacations.com. House was great and a 5 minute drive. The customer service was great too - they booked the house we were interested in while we were debating and offered us a bigger house for the same quoted price.

We have rented a pool home the last 4 yrs. and we loved it. I would hate to go back to a hotel room. We used orlandovillas, homeaway is a good sit and I heard Craig's list is good too. The one thing we look for is a pvt. pool, meaning no neighbors on the right or left. It must have a fence. Some people don't care and that's fine too. Good Luck hunting.

We rent through Florida Sun Vacation Homes. They've been recommended by others on this board. They offer 15% off on stays of 7 nights or more, and we usually stay 8-10 days. When pricing our trip for next year, I sent inquiries to 6 properties on vrbo and only one came below the price quoted by Florida Sun Vacations. Their properties look exactly as pictured, and the homes are spotless (very important to me!). They also don't make you strip the beds, start a load of towels, etc. upon departure which is required by some other management companies.

We stay in Windsor Hills but they also have homes in Emerald Island, Sunset Lakes, and Windsor Palms which are less expensive than Windsor Hills.

Another company that has been recommended a lot is All Star Vacation Homes.
