Housekeeping tips?

Just wondering what does everyone usually tip housekeeping staff? This year we might get a king suite and assume we need to tip more. there are 2 of us in each room. Want to make sure to tip accordingly!

We usually tip $2 for each bed used in the room or suite.

We usually tip $5 per day.

Anything is greatly appreciated, even a little note. If the room attendant did a good job please mention them by name in a comment card/survey as well, as this lets the management know who to praise for their efforts.
