Housekeeping Request

I have read about several problems with rooms not being cleaned by late afternoon. Is it possible to request early cleaning? My son and I have early PS every morning and will have to be out of our room by 7:30 at the latest. Can I request an early morning room cleaning?

When we were due for a cleaning (we're DVC), I'd call Housekeeping before we left for the day to let them know that we would be out of the room and it would be free to clean anytime. We come back, the room is clean.

When I was at WL last year, I requested an early cleaning several times and they were very accomodating.

I just called housekeeping first thing in the morning and asked for an early cleaning, they would usually ask me how early or if 'now' was early enough.

I've never had an issue with housekeeping at any wdw resort, but the WL staff was way beyond my expectations.

Yes you can call housekeeping when you get to your room. Just tell them your preferences. What we did was just alert the mousekeeper when we were leaving the room for a few hours. We'd tell them when we walked by that we would like our room cleaned at the next chance they got. They were always more the happy to do it for us. People complain about cleaning your room late but some have to be cleaned later. They clean rooms from 9am to 4pm so some rooms will have to be cleaned later. It isn't like they do it out of revenge or anything! LOL!
