Nope. And we are not particularly good at "hiding" our belongings. As in, we usually don't. Not saying that's right, but nothing has ever been stolen.

Nope. The only thing I had happen was that they threw my daughter's retainer away.

We've done 47 trips and have never encountered any problems with any kind of theft... We aren't very prudent in stashing our valuables, but we don't take a lot of them.... I mean ID's, wallets and cash go into the safe... Other stuff scattered around our room.... Cell phones left to charge (we don't take them to parks) Kindle left out and game boy... Never really give a thought to hiding stuff... Guess we're very trustful....

We're in and out of the resort all day... Park in the am ... Usually back to resort by noon....resort pool for a few hours with running back to the room for cooler drink refills and back at a park in the evening not really staying out late....

I'm sure that thefts have been reported at Disney Resorts, but don't know how they would be attributed to housekeepers unless they were actually caught. We've never had a problem.

We have never had any problem. I read somewhere on this board awhile back that someone had left their computer on their bed, and the mouse keeping left a note saying they didn't want to touch the bed because of the computer. The poster said they had said they would be glad to come back if they wanted the bed made.

We've never had an issue w/mousekeeping or theft. The only thing we actually put in the safe is my purse/wallets. The DS, computer, cell phones, cameras and the like have been left on tables, chairs, etc. i'm not a trusting person but we've never thought twice about it when we leave the room for the day...we've always come back to things as they were left.

Nope, never......but I've heard of theft around the resorts and from the rooms. Some people have thought maybe it happens when the housekeeper props the door open when they are cleaning it and someone runs in really quick and grabs something. I don't know that the housekeeper wouldn't see them though....unless they were cleaning the bathroom or something.

I remember a thread last year about something, a camera I believe, being stolen from their stroller because they left it parked outside their room for a second? Just because it's Disney doesn't make it 'magically' safe. Take precautions like you would at any resort on any vacation and it shouldn't be a problem.

Never had any problems, and my husband always feels safe in a Disney resort. He usually worries and locks up everything, but he's much more relaxed with Disney. We have left cameras and things out without any problems.

No problems. But I would never leave anything valuable strewn around the room either. Better safe than sorry!

I just leave my purse in a drawer, the laptop out and plugged in with just a newspaper over it and never had anything even disturbed. We do use the in room safe for anything that's not needed in our wallets but that's about it.

Life to too short to be that concerned about things.

I've been to Disney several times and never encountered a theft. Any thing valuable I lock them in the luggage. The only thing really that would be out is the toiletries and shoes. I even lock the the items that we bought. We figured we might as well pack them in the luggage since we're bringing them home. I guess t here's really nothing there for them to steal, unless they want my stinky shoes and my used toothbrush! :)

Stuff stolen from our resort room? No

We HAVE had stuff stolen from our bag at Blizzard Beach though.

Nope..never had an issue and usually all my chargers, whichever camera I dont have with me and my laptop is out..

Once, kind of. We checked out early from AKL one morning, and an hour later (we were still in the lobby after breakfast at Boma) we realized we had left a cell phone in the room. The front desk wouldn't let us back up there but called housekeeping, and they said there was no phone in the room.

What? We used it that morning before we left, so there wasn't anywhere else it could have been. :confused3

Nope, but I also don't leave stuff of value sitting out. Everything gets put in the safe or locked in my suitcase. Housekeeping likes to leave the curtains open after they have been in the room and I don't want my computer, nook, or other electronics in view.
