household help...marker on coffee table

DS was drawing with a laundry marker (rub-a-dub-dub brand) and it bled through the paper onto our coffee table. It isn't an antique or heirloom or ethan allen or anything, but it's all we have. There are three small black lines that I have been unable to remove with pledge or windex household (the one that works on wood). Any ideas?

When I taught preschool (4 year olds) we would have the kids play with shaving cream on the tables. It was fun for them to write their letters and things and it took the marker and crayon marks off instantly. Just spray a little blob on the table and then smear it around until it disappears. Then wipe it with a damp cloth or paper towel and it should take it off.
