Hi, I'm looking for a house rental near Disney. I have searched the threads and have read about Windsor Hills, Reunion, and Margaritaville. We don't need access to water parks, club houses, or community pools so I didn't know if there were any other suggestions people have. We are looking for a minimum of 4 bedrooms and definitely want a private pool. Any suggestions people have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

There are hundreds of rental homes available.

Some areas are more popular because people tend to like water parks, clubhouses and community pools, but there are plenty of alternatives out there.

It can be overwhelming trying to choose something, but try your best to narrow your result by what is truly important to you and your budget.

Use VRBO. You get protection that way as well as a filter to search on what ever your needs are.

I second this and would also check Airbnb. My advice for either of these platforms is to be very picky. Look for highly rated properties with 20 or more reviews and read all of them carefully.

And read everything in the property listing - house rules, health and safety, cancellation policy (very important) and message the host if you have questions.

If you get any bad vibes look for something else.

We've used Airbnb twice this year and are very happy. The cleaning fees and service charges make it expensive for a single night or weekend but for longer stays it is much cheaper than hotels.
We rented an 8/7 with pool and amenities center for about $400 a night including fees. $500 a night for a weekend.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Yes, it is totally overwhelming to narrow down a house. We usually stay at Bonnet Creek or Sheraton Vistana Resort, but we wanted our own pool this time. Thanks again!

The peace of mind is what keeps me recommending AirBNB but if you want to make an attempt at going it on your own, Marketplace on Facebook sometimes has personal rentals and most are usually in the Villages and even come with a golf cart.

We have stayed at Windsor Hills multiple times before- going again in January. (under $1400 for 3bed/2bath condo x 10 days)
For me, just can't beat the price/amenities and location. Free parking, gated security, 10 min drive to WDW.
They do have s club house, movie theater, big community pool etc, but even if you don't need all that, it's still a great deal

Found these pix of the Airbnb we rented a couple weeks ago.
