House of Blues??

Has anybody tried Houses of Blues in Downtown Disney's West Side? I never hear anything about this place - good or bad. I know I have walked past it several times, but have never ventured inside.

We tried it once and will never go back again. It was one of the most expensive meals during our trip and the food was just mediocre. The service was very slow and it took forever to get our meals. Also, the music was so loud we could not have any type of conversation at all. I think it would be a great place to hang out and have a couple drinks...but not dinner, and definitely wouldn't recommend bringing small children due to the noise level.

We go everytime we're near one. I love HoB. The atmosphere is great and the food is yummy. The only thing I don't like is their menu selections are pretty limited. We always go here on our last day in WDW.

We've gone a few times and have always liked it.
My parents went with us once and my mom didn't like. For someone who wants to visit New Orleans she thought HoB seemed alittle too voodoo (not sure if thats the right discription to use, it's probably not).
DH loves the hot sauce selection in the gift shop.

We went one time and like the food a lot but I have to agree with one of the other posters, it was loud. The server had a terrible time trying to hear us and we felt bad for her. It was uncomfortable so for that reason I probably would not go back

The goat cheese stuffed filet and catfish nuggets are awsome! If you go for lunch its much more quiet. The band usually comes in before dinner. Try it only you will know if its for you.
