We will be going the parks our first day (Tuesday June 21st) and I would like to eat at HOB that night what time during the evening would you suggest making a reservation for?

Good question - I was wondering the same thing for our August trip. Also, do you book with HOB directly or need to go through the Disney reservations?

On a related note, Restaurant.com has an offer ending today for 80% off, so you can get a $50 certificate for House of Blues for $4.

HOB is a separate reservation. I'm not sure what the best time would be as it is somewhat dependant on what is going on there that night.

We bought a gift card from restraunts.com and went to use it. They sat us down and 35 minutes later no one had come by, not even with water. We left. No intention on going back either. Maybe we got bad service because it was a weekday and their weekend staff is better, but still no excuse in my book.

So sorry that happened to you. :confused:We've used the certificates about 3 times so far and we've always had good service. Must have just been a flluke.:confused3

I wasn't aware HoB took reservations. We've always just done walk up. Waited anywhere from 5 minutes to 45. Weekends (of course) are the longest wait.

We did a walk-up on our last vist to HOB and waited maybe 5 minutes. We used a restaurant.com certificate as well and had no problems. We plan on going back for the upcoming trip because we loved the food and drinks. I agree with the previous poster that there is absolutely no excuse for bad service. The day that we did a walk up we mentioned to the hostess that we had attempted to call several times that day with no answer ( to make a reservation) so she asked the manager to speak to us about it. I told him it was no big deal but he was very accomodating and sent our table a large appetizer platter and a 20% discount off of our bill. As with most eateries it is a toss up as far as the level of service you will get. :confused3

I would check the HOB website and see if there is a concert the night you want to go. Sometimes the restaurant can be a bit more crowded if there is a concert depending on the crowd of concert goers.

I believe you can call the regular disney dining line. I think the only place they don't make reservations for is Rain Forrest

We had resies for our trip in December
