House of Blues Clear Channel GC

I just received my GC's in the mail today. Unlike the other GC's that I have ordered from them before, these looked like a copy. Did anyone receive an actual gift certificate, or did they all look like copies this time? Thanks for the info. Also, my GC's said they were not valid for Dec. 24th thru Jan. 3rd. I don't remember reading that anywhere. I'm glad we will be arriving on the 23rd. I called and changed my PS for then. I hope this doesn't mess up anyone else's plans.

Anyway, yes, photocopy (or printing in grayscale) is fine. they Accept it easily, as long as it has the clear channel imprint, and a certificficate number.

And if your PS changes let me know, I'm going late Nov/early Decemeber

I got mine and it looked like a copy too... I am really glad that you told me about the blackout dates... we will be there 12/21 - 1/5 and I will definitely need to change my dining plans.

I thought the same thing. Just a photocopy paper. But it does have an imprint on it. Also it expires on 3/31/05. I bought 2 one to use in April because it said they were expiring 4/30/2005 Oh well, I'm sure we will be able to get rid of it. It states one per check, maybe we can get 2 checks between the 6 of us and use it up? anyone know?

I was very surprised to see the black-out dates. I went back to the site to look it up, and it definitely doesn't mention it. Either way, it's a good deal, and I'm glad we'll be able to use it on the 23rd. I'm not that concerned anyway, because we only live an hour away. I'm now wondering if they will take the other GC I ordered for the Sunday Brunch.

It looks like they really screwed this one up. I don't know how strict HOB will be about how many GC's you can us at once, but we were able to use more than 1 at many of the Universal/Citywalk restaurants. Good luck!

Mine looks like a copy, too but does have an imprint. We have never been there before. Don't know if I'll use it for our Nov trip or our Feb trip.

Mine also looked like a copy. But when I looked at it again the paper has specks of color in it. And the number of the certificate is stamped in red.

Didn't realize about the blackout dates.

MomToMooToo - you definitely won't have ANY trouble getting rid of one if you need to.

It has been so long since Clear Channel offered any decent GC's lately - I had a field day this past summer, LOLOL

We have a PS for 8:30, since it's our arrival day, we wanted to make sure we had plenty of time to get settled before going out. I know what you mean about racking up in the summer. We spent 6 days/5 nights at RPR, and didn't eat one meal that we didn't have a GC for, and most of them we only paid $15 for. We even ended up having food from Pastamore to take to Daytona Beach with us. Gotta love Clear Channel! I'm having a hard time getting used to having to pay full price for our meals at WDW in Dec.

Which one of the websites offer this GC. I have been to several of the clear channels but I have never seen house of blues offered. Thanks for sharing!

Tarheel : Our reservation is for 7:30 pm so we will likely pass each other sometime that evening I have never eaten there, but the menu looks very yummy!!!
