House/Bones Spoilers Needed

Ok I missed tonight's and need info(reruns?). Plus please tell me that cop on House is almost done story wise, he is driving me batty!

According to my TIVO guide, tonight's House was a re-run from when Cynthia Nixon (redhead from sex in the city) passes out at a race track and it turns out she's a hypochondriac or a surgery seeker or something.

I don't think there's a new episode until after the holidays.

Bones was also a rerun. The next new episode of Bones will be January 24. The next new episode of House will be January 9. The TV Guide blurb from that January 9 episode says, "David Morse Guest-Stars in Conclusion of Six-Episode Story Arc".

I am very happy to hear that. I absolutely HATE that whole story line on House. Get back to the good stuff!

Oh I agree it is the worst writing this show has had. There have been so many inconsistencies and just plain wrong things done that if I was a new viewer I would be wondering why everyone thought this show was great. They need to get back to the medical stories they can't do legal! They don't even have the characters acting like they would, as if Cutty would be cow tailed by a lowly detective- where is the DA? None of this story line would happen the way they have it happening.

I'm not sure if it was bad writing or what, but I just don't see any rationality in the storyline -- it sure seems to me that Morse's character was engaging in actions that would readily earn him a reprimand and replacement on the "Gregory House Investigation" by an investigator who didn't have a personal grudge. It would have been very easy to demonstrate the detective's bias -- Cuddy would surely have done so. House would still be in trouble, perhaps, but there wouldn't have been all the unbelievable personal antipathy. That antipathy added drama, but as such, was nothing more than a cheap writing trick.
