Hours / Refurbishments for August 2017

Hi there,
we will be at the resort at the end of August.
How far in advance does Disney post theme park hours and rehabs?
Would like to know what rides might be closed and when the Disneyland Railroad may reopen.

Disneyland posts their operating hours 45-days in advance. That is when the first hints about refurbishments will usually be available, but they can (and do) modify the dates until the very last minute. So far, there hasn't been any concrete information about when the railroad and Rivers of America will re-open (other than a vague "summer 2017").

I just read on MiceChat the goal is to have the river/Fantasmic!! and trains (or at least one train) running by July 14.

That's consistent with most of the rumors that indicate DLR wants to have F!, TSI, and the train up and running by DL's 62nd anniversary and the D23 Expo. However, DLR has been pretty cagey about when things will actually start...

As far as what rides may be closed... my experience has been, generally, that during peak season, they have most of the major rides running. I would anticipate that they would hold off until after the Labour Day weekend to close them down.

Haunted Mansion is usually down the last week or two of august as the Holiday overlay is installed.

We frequently go during your timeframe OP, and they rarely have anything closed at that time for refurbs during that week with the exception of Haunted Mansion, which is getting its holiday overlay.
