When we took our cruise one thing we really noticed was the limited times the buffets were open. My hubby went to get breakfast at about 6:30 am and there was nothing open. We thought that was ridiculous. On Carnival, it seemed like their buffet was always open. We could always get soft serve ice cream/frozen yogurt and drinks there. He was disappointed with that. Since eating is such a huge thing on cruises, it seems they should be open longer hours. We didn't try the pizza, but heard it wasn't that great.

You are right..the hours are limited...we went up to get pizza for an afternoon snack..they were just about to close the windows for a couple hour break. I said..what...you are shutting down during mid snack time...hubby and I couldn't believe it.

We too, went up for early breakfast..lol..we were an hour early..lol. Couldn't believe that either..and on sea days, I think the breakfast buffet opened even later than on port days. Shocked us for sure.

According the Navigators, early-bird pastries and coffee start at 630 am, Pizza is available from 10am-12m, and room service is 24 hours.

It seems to me that food is plentiful on DCL, as I've gained at least 5 lbs. each time!:teeth:

So next time we should just order from room service? DH didn't want to wake up the rest of us. Did they have an extensive room service menu for breakfast? We did order lunch from there when we were exhausted mid-day, but unfortunately, DH got sick from the tuna sandwich.
