Hours of Travel Time to Distance?

Is there a site (like Mapquest) that will allow you to put in an amount of time that you would like to be on a route so that you can see how far you will travel? I'd like to see what area we'd be in after, say 6 hours in order to search for hotel rooms.

Is this crazy?

Why not just take the number of hours, multiply by the speed limit and then adjust for time spent eating and getting gas?

Here is what I do with mapquest...I go to their directions page. I put in my starting point and a place I think is about the distance I'm thinking of. If you click and hold the dot on your destination on the map, you can move your destination. I did this to organzie my drive down this summer. I moved the point to figure out where I'd be evry three hours or so.
