Hours for Pirate's Adventure

Does anyone know anything about the hours for Pirate's Adventure in Magic Kingdom? We were thinking of doing this in the evening, but then I noticed that Disney's page for it seems to indicate that the hours are 10-6. Does the entire thing shut down so that you can't scan even if you've started a mission, or what?

We wanted to do it on Thursday. I know it didn't open until noon, and I think the sign said 12-6, but I'm not positive on the "closing" time.

Yes, after 6 they shut off the effects and your band won't scan at the stations. (I'm not sure if there is a slight grace period after the 6:00 close or if that's firm each night.)
We love the Pirate's adventure! I highly recommend squeezing in a couple maps while it's open. You get a collectable card after each quest. Your reward for completing two maps is usually FP for PotC. (Probably just get the cards while Pirates is in refurb. But those are neat to collect too.) The maps are very good quality- My friend's son loved them.

Thanks! You're right, it's 12. Not sure how I saw 10... We're definitely excited to try this out with our kids, especially with the FP incentive. It's a little disappointing the hours are so restricted, but I guess we'll try to fit it in as we can. Does anyone know if you can do one map one day and another map the next day and still get the FP?

I believe you can. Just keep the card or stamped map they give you when you finish. But honestly, two maps doesn't take very long. I'd recommend doing them together.

If I remember correctly, our Pirate's fp were good for a window of several days...ymmv. You could always ask the cast member at the pirate lair before you start the quest.
