I have looked on the website, but did not see the hours for December.
Did I miss something? Is there anywhere to look at last years hours,
to guess what times they will be open

Here are last years:

There is discounted tickets to go to the park after 2:00 pm. until closing and we figured since it is open until 9:00 then we could see WWOHP no problem in that time.
Could you provide the link to these tickets you saw? I can't seem to find them on the website.

Interesting - last year, for the week leading up to Christmas, IOA closed at 7 PM. This year, during that same time period, it's currently set to close at 9 PM.

I wonder if that's because of bigger-than-expected crowds experienced last year or if it's because they anticipate having larger crowds this year with the opening of WWoHP.

hmmm. . .

Those are convention tickets. I don't know if you can use them w/o having to prove which convention you're part of.

I have e-mailed them to clarify and will advise once I get a reply. Here are the details of the ticket and I do not see anywhere it states that they are for convention participants only unless I missed something.

This is from your link:

1-Day Base Ticket Plus CityWalk® Party Pass
(Valid after 2:00 PM)

This ½ day ticket is perfect after a morning of meetings and seminars!

Those are convention tickets. I'm not sure if you would be asked to show ID from the convention or not but I'll look into it and post what I find out tomorrow.

Thank you as this would be great if we can use those tickets. I wait for your reply.

It doesn't say they are convention tickets. It just states that they are ideal for conventioners. If a convention ID were required, it would say that.

I hope you are right because for us these are great tickets.
I hope these work out for you. The main question will be if a convention ID or some sort of confirmation is required for these tickets and if not...the tickets should be on the main website ticket page where the general public can easliy see them...but they are not. Again...I hope these work out for you.

True but these tickets are only accessed by the Convention page. See the link below that was provided:

https://secure.universalstudios.com/WebStore/shop/ViewItems.aspx?CG=UOConvention&C=UOConvTPT11

The "Conv" in the address clearly means Convention.

We will have to wait until Phamton verifies everything and reports back. I'm going over tomorrow and will ask at Guest Services.

The convention tickets can be used by anyone. You need to buy them online though as it isn't sold at the ticket booths. You will not have to show any ID for convention attendance. Anyone is able to use them without restrictions.

Good to know...doesn't make sense but good to know.

Thanks phamton as this allows us to see what we want without spending more then what we need too. I will be buying my tickets online tonight.

To further what phamton already clarified for us this is what I received from my inquiry via e-mail with Universal Studios.

Good afternoon Lori,

Thank you for contacting the Universal Online Ticket Store. All you would need is a valid photo ID to enter the park with this ticket. We do not require any type of proof that you were at the convention prior to your visit to our park. If you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to contact our Online Ticket Store at 407-224-7840. Our hours are Monday - Saturday 7:30am to 10pm and Sunday 9am to 9pm EST.
Thank you and have a great day!

Guest Contact Center/Universal Parks & Resorts

So I have bought my tickets and we can enjoy the park plus CityWalk at a fair price.
