Hotwire Savings Club??

I am a member of Connections right now. I stayed on my year membership as we got a lot of use out of it. I ordered gift cards for lots of things in addition to the Disney meal vouchers and park hoppers. I ordered $300 gift cards from Kids R Us to buy school clothes. I ordered $300 gift cards from Toys R us (same) to buy Christmas gifts. I ordered restaurant cards to give as teacher gifts, brother-in-law gifts, etc. So we made our money with Connections. But now my membership year is coming to an end and in anticipation of a hefty price increase for yearly membership (from what I have heard on these boards) I am thinking about cancelling Connections and joining Hotwire. We are going back to Disney in August and would like to order more vouchers. What gift cards are available to buy with Hotwire. Are there Target cards? What about Toys R Us? Red Lobster? TGIFridays?

I was a Connections member and when the renewal came and the proce had increased I switched to Hotwire. it seems to me that the exact same stores, restaurants, movie tickets and Disney park items are avaialble on each.

Gift cards currently listed at hotwire include:
Target, Toys R Us and Babies R US, Kmart, JCPenney,Borders ,Circuit City, Barnes and Noble.Blockbuster, Foot Locker, Red Lobster, Outback, Hardrock, Olive Garden, Chuckie Cheese,Bennigans, Planet Hollywood.

Ok now you have my interest? Do they give you discounts on these cards? We usually go to the Olive Garden while in WDW. If I could get a temporary membership and order some of those and vouchers it would benefit us!

Olive Garden and most other gift cards are 20% off. They are $25 GCs, you pay full price on them initially, then you get a $5 credit for each GC purchased on your credit card a few weeks later (usually the first business day of the following month). If you're only going to try it out for a month, the trick is to sign up between the 8th and 15th, order your gift cards right away, so that you cancel within 30 days and still get your credits. HTH!
