Hotwire Savings Club for PHP tix

Has anyone used Hotwire Savings Club to purchase PHP and/or resort meal tix? I've got a 30 day free trial and price quote including tax and free shipping is: $197.47 4 day PHP adult, $158.17 4 day PHP child. Looks like a good deal, so any feedback is appreciated!

I've been digging around to learn more about the Hotwire Savings Club and this is another program operated by MWI, which runs Connections.

The advantage I see to the Hotwire version is that it costs nothing for the first 30 days (vs. $1 for Connections) and then is charged monthly (like the version sold through Lillian Vernon), so in theory you can buy your tickets and then cancel without paying for a whole year.

Not sure if the Hotwire program offers the exact same discounts as Connections, but based on the ticket price you mentioned, it's probably very similar.

Before doing this, I strongly advise acquainting yourself with the numerous problems that have been reported with MWI:

have many or any on this site had problems like those on the previouse reply? how about through Lilan Vernon? I realize that is aligned with Cnnections too but am wondering if it is worth the risk or not. has any one NOt had charges removed if they were charged with out permission ? is there anything I could do to keep from haveing problems later...I wonder if it is possible to use a debit card to make the purchases....then keep minimal amount in that account so they can't add any weird charges?

Thanks for the info Mary. Turns out AAA rates including taxex are almost exactly the same as the Hotwire/Connections rates. Guess I'll play it safe a go to AAA for PHPs.

is it cheaper through aaa than advance disney and if so how much. would it be worth joining to get the rate inohter words! Thanks

whoops, my bad, the AAA rates are for park hopper tix, not park hopper plus. My AAA office does not offer 4 day PHP tix. The Disney Advance rates for PH tix are actually a bit lower than AAA rates for PH tix.

Finally the Hotwire/Connections rate *is* for PHP tix at very close to the same prices as Disney Advance's 4 day PH tix. This is making me tired Think I'll just get the 4 day PH from Disney Advance...don't really anticipate going to the Water Parks in December anyway....
