Has anyone used Hotwire for a hotel near WDW? I´ve never used it before and have a couple of questions. You don´t know what hotel you´ll get until you´ve paid, right? If I need two rooms, what are my chances of getting connecting rooms? Do any of the hotels include breakfast? Are there any hidden fees or other charges?

Go to betterbidding dot com for lots of information.

You can use that site to get a pretty good idea of what you are bidding on.

We were hoping for the Hyatt Regency Grand cypress, and we got it. There are extra charges for resorts, but you can find out how much they are by going to the hotel website (in most cases).

Good luck!

Are you talking about Hotwire or Priceline?

Betterbidding.com is for bidding on Priceline.

Hotwire shows you the amenities, as I recall, before you choose.

Thanks! I checked out Better Bidding. It´s great and definately is not only for priceline. I believe Bidding For Travel is only for Priceline.

In regards to the likelihood of you being able to get a connecting room- forget it.... the odds are next to zero. Of course, there's always a trade off when dealing with hotwire and priceline- this is one of the tradeoffs.
