so I just big on a hotel for our thanksgiving week trip to disneyland and got Ayres inn orange for 80.00 a night and we asked for 2 rooms so a total of 744.66. Has anyone stayed here? Is it a good deal?

Without knowing your dates and plugging in random dates for that week, looks like you did ok. Will you have a car, or will you use a shuttle?

By the way, you don't bid on Hotwire.

not technically but they give a price and you agree with the price of the hidden hotel. I call it bidding :) We will have a car but use the ARTS transportation that we keep reading about

Hi! We just got back from staying there Monday-Friday last week! We paid $102 through hotwire over break week. Thought this was just an ok price...would have been very happy at $80. The hotel was nice, the breakfast was decent. The pool was a bit small, but no big deal. The shuttle was great for getting to the park - this was the last hotel stop, with a sometime stop on Harbor at Convention center - so got there quite quickly. The way home took a bit longer, though, as bus goes to the ARTIC center and to Embassy Suites. The outlet mall at Orange was walkable and had a couple of good restaurants.

Be forewarned, though, that the UC Irvine Medical center is across the street, which means a lot of sirens. It didn't bother us at all, but if you have light sleepers you may wish to request rooms on the other side of the hotel. We overlooked the pool.

The beds were very comfy, and there are fresh cookies out late afternoon/early evening. Though they disappear quite quickly!

The first day, housekeeping (which always did a great job) came quite late - around 4pm. We prefer sooner, as we return to room after lunch for pool, nap and showers. We did leave a decent tip daily, though, and from then on our room was made up much sooner. May have been a coincidence, but either way, we appreciated the great service.

thanks for the reply. Good to hear its not too terrible. Honestly do not know if sirens will bother my family or not we have never slept near them so I guess time will tell

Ayres Anaheim is my favorite place to stay then Ayres Orange. Different feel between the two. I found Orange to be more on the formal side with the antique style furniture. Geez if I could get it for that [rice I'd be there at the end of the month.
For $80/night I think you got a great deal. The free breakfast is one of the best I've had and they also have an evening reception some weeknights, the cookies already mentioned are very good. I don't remember hearing any traffic noise but we were on the pool side. There is a Wendy's right next door in case you need a snack.
