i have tried on 2 different computers and cannot get the page to open! all it does is says "done" on the bottom toolbar. it would be pointless to send them an email and have the reply to come to my email inbox. i would never get it! once this morning it said the server was too busy. UGH!!
i'm really disliking hotmail as of late. i have that for personal use (for IM mostly) and yahoo for work. my yahoo just jumped up to 1 GB of storage (for no reason, just out of the goodness of their hearts!), hotmail is still at a pathetic 2MB. i get ridiculous amounts of spam at hotmail, i rarely get any with yahoo.
and to top all that off, hotmail always seems to be down....microsoft is really letting me down.
I have 3 different accounts and one of them is having real issues...guessing their problems are server based and I happen to have an account on that server.
Disney Queen -- this happens to me occasionally. When you get the message "Done" -- click your REFRESH button on the toolbar. This usually does the trick for me ... it forces Internet Explorer to reload the screen/window and usually Hotmail appears then. It's rather annoying.
That usually works for me, but I have gotten a "server too busy" message a few times this week, too. Sometimes it takes several attempts to finally get in and sometimes I just give up and try later.
I'm sorry my "trick" didn't work. I like Hotmail, but sometimes it can really suck.
steve, i think that is some goodly advice--try later. and aprincessmom, you are right--real issues. and the info i need is on the server that is having a bad issue day!
