I am after some help deciding on a hotel for our next holiday in September. Last year we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. That's not in our budget this year, so we are looking at the off-site hotels directly across from the entrance gates. Front runner at the moment is the Desert Inn and Suites.

We will need 2 separate rooms. My family - DH, DD11, DD7, DD3 and my niece who is 14 and my friends family - the mum and her 3 daughters. We'd like to keep the costs to around $120 per night per room and something with breakfast would be great.

Please convince me of your favourite and give me your reviews!! Thanks!

I don't have any favorites, but I'd be looking at the Best Western Plus hotels, the Park Place Inn and the Anaheim Inn for starters. They are better rated hotels than the Desert Inn.

The Best Western Park Place Inn and Mini Suites is hands down my favorite off-property hotel. Surprisingly quiet, clean, comfortable, directly across the street from the pedestrian entrance to Disneyland.

Free breakfast buffet next door on the second floor of Captain Kidd's. Nothing extravagant, but it's FREE. Fruit, eggs, hot and cold cereal, juice, milk, coffee, tea.
