Hotels with the most comfortable beds?

I agree, the beds at the HoJo are super comfy. They are all new mattresses in the hotel. It's all I could do not to just flop on the bed and go to sleep after a long day in the park. I believe those mattresses helped keep us going in the parks for 6 days straight. I have an artificial spine in part of my back/neck, so have to sleep on a proper mattress or I would feel it the next day, and I felt excellent after sleeping on those mattresses

We thought the mattresses at Peacock Suites were great. Comfy beds are one of my priorities too. We did not like the beds at Carousel as well and for that and other reasons, won't be staying there again.

Hampton inn and suites has the best beds by far!!!
i've stayed at all 3 disneyland resort hotels, hojo, hilton anaheim suites, crown plaza and some others and this bed was extremely comfy. Heavenly bed they call em

No harm, I was just more or less seconding the fact that they are comfy. I almost always stay in building 1 or 2, so never seem to venture beyond that, gotta have my park or pool view or I am lost

We have stayed in the Pavillion rooms before. I thought the beds were fine, definitely not uncomfortable.....

A 'comfy' bed is kinda subjective. What may be nice to one person,may be too hard/soft to another. It all depends on what 'you' are used to. Just my $.02

Does this include the beds in the pavillion buildings at Hojo's? I know they have new beds in all the other buildings except those ones and that's where we are staying in dec./jan. so I'm a little concerned about it..... maybe a king bed room would be better? (the double queens are all booked)

The pavilion buildings are the 2 story buildings with no elevators, right? If so, then, yes, those beds (or at least in the rooms I've stayed in that were in those buildings) are just as comfortable as the beds in the "Disney View" rooms that I've stayed in.

Thanks Spacermaid! as someone who has a bad back too, I take comfort in your opinion! We've stayed in the new premium beds in building 1 disney view, and stayed in building 2 on 3 different levels over the years, only one time did we have trouble with an uncomfortable bed (older queen beds 1st floor building 2, they have now been replaced) and there was nothing they could do because they were completely full! Unfortunately we just had to check out and move to the Disneyland Hotel where the bed was amazing...but like Bumbershoot said was so high (I'm just 5'4") you had to "climb" up or down into or out of it! Just glad I never broke my toe!
I'm looking forward to our visit to Hojo's again... we've been staying there for going on 19 years now and have always been very happy (except for the 1 time, and even then we were sad to be leaving....) I should have said, we have stayed at the Candy Cane Inn just last year as well (dear daughter wanted a change) second floor towards the back, not the premium rooms, but not the cheapest either...the beds were super comfy there too!

I go into anxiety mode about our room choice... I like park view, but hubby likes the sun on the balcony in the morning and for most of the day.... I don't like traffic noise.... we thought these rooms would be a compromise.... I think you can see at least the monorail from the second floor and hear the sounds of the park, they get sun all day, and are away from the I5.... looking out over Castaway Cove.... Lol.... I always wonder how people can possibly bid on a room at the sites where you do that...not knowing what hotel I'm going to be at.... I'd never take a chance on it!! I do not have any control issues either...

No problem ; the only downside to the HOJO's beds was that I almost didn't want to get out of them in the mrning (and not because I pretty much * couldn't* get out of bed, which has happened in a couple of Disney-area hotels, but that was before finding the Disboards!)

Good to know that the CCI has comfy beds, too...will keep it in mind for future trips!

We stayed at the Anaheim Plaza last week and the beds were not comfortable at all. I really missed the Hojo beds! Probably won't stay there again. We did because the Hojo ent rate was sold out and this was our super fast, super budget trip.

Del Sol mattresses also awful- we'll never stay there again. Just felt yucky there.

Park Vue Inn mattresses weren't too bad. Not Hojo's but okay and worked fine for us.

I sort of agree with this being a subjective question...

We just stayed at Anaheim Plaza Hotel and everyone slept like bricks. We stayed 3 days and did full days (during extended hours) in the Parks each day.

We were so exhausted I don't know if I can even say if the beds were comfortable or not. I would also have to blame any discomfort or pain on 16hrs in the park each day before I could blame the bed directly as the cause...

If it makes any difference we fell asleep and woke up exactly the same time each day.

Bottom line for 59.00 a night the Anaheim Plaza was worth it to us... (Maybe that will change once we can afford somewhere with nicer beds)

I stayed in building 4 about 10 days ago, and I slept great. Loved the bed, but did notice it was not as "fabulous" as my queen premium view room bed was. I also had just come from a stay at Westin with the heavenly bed and quite frankly, the pillow was way to big and the comfortor was too heavy. I did not sleep well at all! But I slept great at HOJO. I love the weight of their blanket and also the size of the pillow is pretty good.

We found the beds at Fairield Inn and at Hojos to be very comfortable! I have a bad back and neck, so a comfortable bed is very important to us. We thought the pillows at Hojo were a little too high, but then again, better than being too soft! Pillows at Fairfield Inn were great. Both places = very comfortable.

I have a family plagued with bad backs. I'm starting to get organized for our Nov 2010 family trip, and I'd love a list of hotels with confirmed "comfortable" (not rock hard) beds. We stayed at Hojo's last year and had no problems.

Desert inn and suites. The C-1's are acceptable, but the A parlor suites suck. I posted a review on Tripadvisors "sleep in the parking lot it's more comfortable" I am starting to take my memory foam topper with me.
