Are there any budget-friendly hotels within walking distance that have 2 room, 2 bath suite? Or 1 bedroom suites? We have a party of 6 so we need three beds, even if one is a pullout from the couch. I've been searching and see a few 1 bedroom suites with one bath, but a second bathroom would be great with four women in our group :rotfl: We'll have a car, though walking distance would be nice and maybe even continental breakfast.

I would really appreciate any suggestions for hotels that accommodate a party of 6 no matter the # of rooms in the suite without having to pay for two completely separate rooms. Late April or early May would around the time we are planning for.

Thanks!

I would suggest the Marriot Residence Inn. It is about a 15 minute walk and they have 2 bedroom suites with a kitchens. They have an excellent breakfast. And they have free parking for their guests! You can also use ART if you don't want to walk.

We had a 2-bedroom, 2-bath suite at Desert Inn & Suites last summer. It had 4 queen beds and a pull-out sofa, 3 TVs, fridge and microwave. We had a party of 5 and we were able to spread out. My DH and I slept in one bedroom with our 11 year old and my sister and 14 year old had the other room. It's one of the closest hotels in terms of walking to DL. The pool isn't the greatest - it's small and indoors - but it was OK. We brought our own breakfast foods but picked up coffee, juice and milk from the breakfast room. We've stayed there a few times and keep going back because of the convenience. They only let you have 1 parking space per room, even suites. So if you're bringing two cars that could be a problem. We paid $202 per night, but they also have smaller rooms and suites for less. You can check out the website and see the different rooms and configurations.

We have stayed RI Maingate numerous times and never a problem. Easy walk to the parks. The manager, Michele Valadez goes the extra mile for the people who stay there.

We love Desert Inn and Suites too. It's really close. Breakfast is nothing fancy or even substantial (we only stopped once in 4 days), but they do have fridges and microwaves in the rooms, so it's no big deal. Also, their price for two rooms is usually pretty much on par with their suites, so if you need a second parking place this is a good option. Basically this is a no frills options, but it's clean and close.

As a side note, we did notice last time we were there that those time share people that hang out on Harbor seemed to stop their approach mid stride when they realized we were DI&S guests. Don't know if it's part of their deal with DI&S to be able to have thier booth there or not, but it was really nice to not have to talk to those people.

Howard Johnson (HOJO) on Harbor is within easy walking distance of the parks and has a Pirates themed Kids Suite (one king, bunk beds, pull-out sleeper). It has 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. We stayed there in November and really enjoyed the suite. (we are a family of six)

They also offer some great Ent. Card rates. Check out this link.

We stayed at Desert Inn and Suites a number of years back. It is extremely convenient as it is basically at the crosswalk to the entrance on Harbor Blvd. At the time we had a toddler crawling around and her knees were absolutely black from the carpets and our socks were also. If you're just looking for a cheap place to sleep, it will do the trick. We only stayed there the one time. If you're looking for something nicer and cleaner, I would look elsewhere.

We are staying at the Anaheim Plaza which is a 5 minute walk, it's just at the next light. It's their suite but it's really just two rooms with the connecting door unlocked, so 4 queen beds, two bathrooms, 2 tvs, refrig, microwave for $109 plus tax a night total.
