Almost everywhere has access to the ART shuttles which are pretty cheap. A few have thier own shuttle, that's under 10%.

I far prefer to stay right across the street.

Park Vue Inn
Candy Cane Inn
Best Western Park Place
Hojo Anaheim
Ramada Maingate

I always stay at the Hampton Inn because, well I always stay at Hampton Inns. Clean rooms, good breakfast, several places to eat on the same block. ART picks up next door at the Embassy Suites. And important to me, there is a Starbuck's in the Hyatt at the end of the block.

The Hyatt Regency Orange County has their own shuttle. I believe it just changed from one that shares with nearby hotels--to their own shuttle. It use to be free, but now you pay like 4.00 per day for it.

The Candy Cane Inn has thier own shuttle as well--it is free and a Candy Cane Inn shuttle only.

I think one of the Sheratons has their own shuttle too--but I don't know which one.

There is a big difference between a hotel that has it's own shuttle and ART in my opinion. I would stay at hotel with their own shuttle, but would never do ART.

I've stayed at Homewood Suites. The shuttle runs every half hour.

The hotels across the street from the park on Harbor are fairly good. I've stayed at the Tropicana a couple of times and it wasn't the best, but not bad. A colleague stayed at the Fairfield Inn and quite liked it. My daughter and her husband just stayed at Del Sol and didn't have any complaints.

I've stayed at the Embassy Suites about two or three (VERY LONG) blocks down Harbor. ART has a stop there. I like the Embassy Suites because the rooms have two truly separate rooms (living room and separate closed off bedroom), a mini-kitchen (frig and microwave), and a real breakfast in the morning. Not having to hunt around for breakfast is a huge time savings.

Some hotels claim to have "suites" but they just have a partial wall dividing a sitting area from the bed(s). What I like about Embassy Suites is that you can put the kids to bed on the fold out couch in the living room, shut the door between the two rooms, and stay up a little longer.

I haven't had any real trouble with ART. Right at closing there might be a line. Others may have different experiences.

Thanks for some info

I've stayed at desert inn, del sol, Anaheim plaza, and hojo.

Hojo is the best and you can't beat the ent. Rate.

Guess I'm just cheap lol we go for the parks not the hotel I just think over a hundred bucks for the ones I listed besides hojo is to high for run down places.

Interested in park vue inn but I think it is more of the same for 145 a night blah.

Hilton or Hampton or more name brand is worth the 100 a night in my opinion.

Just wasn't sure if getting on the shuttle was a hassel or not ?

We've stayed at both Ayre's Orange & Anaheim. Loved them both. Orange has it's own shuttle & the ART stops at the Anaheim one.
