Joe hopefully someone will check into this tomorrow with some help.
Let us know if you find out anything yourself.

I've looked into this before and found hotels near Waterloo to be quite expensive. My recommendation would be to travel from Ashford if possible because the Holiday Inn is only down the road from the station and is very reasonable while being a really nice hotel.

I have found this site here to be quite useful in the past. Do you have far to travel when you get into Waterloo? We are lucky in that trains to Bournemouth only take 2 hours and run every half hour.

Great info
managed to book a hotel near paddington for our return journey 4 £88 for three of us(2 adults 1 infant) including breakfast, not bad as there advertised rate was £150!!

There is a Travel Inn in Old City Hall, just around the corner (5 min walk) from Waterloo.

Great location, next to Millennium Wheel and across river from Parliament. A bit more expensive than normal Travel Inns - £86 for a family room, but still pretty good. Easy access to central london restaurants the night before, and in the morning you can check out and go have breakfast at the Eurostar departure at Waterloo

Cheers

Sorry just noticed you've already booked near Paddington, but info may be of use to others
