Hotels near US that offer shuttle service

Planning a 4 night/3 day quick trip and trying to keep it as inexpensive as possible (doesn't mean I want to stay in a dirty hotel).

This will be BFs first Orlando trip with me so I want to make it something he would want to do again. I normally stay on WDW property, but I am leaning towards making this trip focused on US and especially HHN.

I know there are some hotels very close and I have seen that several of them offer shuttle service.

Suggestions?

If you are going during HHN stay a few nights first offsite the move over for 1 night onsite. This way you get 2 days of express, not HHN though, and you can close the parks with a short walk or boat ride to your room. It's great watching everyone heading for the parking/bus pickup after closing. As for offsite hotels, IDK we have not stayed offsite in 7-8 years.

The doubletree is close and has shuttle service.

I would also have a look at Royal Cabana staying onsite for less than the other on-sites but no express but still has it's perks like early entry and continuous transportation to and from the parks.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn and Suites that is very close to Universal. We actually walked over one afternoon. (Though it is a long walk and a little scary as you have to cross one very busy highway!)

The hotel is nice and clean and it has been remodeled. We were upgraded to a suite when we went in 2012.

The shuttle comes early but you have to reserve a spot the night before. We took a cab back one night and it was only about $5.00.

There is a decent swimming pool on the property as well as a TGIF restaurant.

We were very happy with our stay there.
