What is your favorite hotel close the toy story parking lot? Just want to compare prices with other hotels in that area that. I've heard that Homewood suites is amazing for comfort but just wanted to look for other options. Thanks!

Hyatt house is close. I'm
Thinking the red lion is on the other side. Look at google maps.

Toy story didn't save us any time and just about the same amount of walking. We were at HomeWood. It is nice.

Red Lion is right next to it and I've stayed there several times with minimal complaints. For the record, the last time we stayed there, they were not letting anyone check in early at all, which miffed me.

I've stayed at the Red Lion three times as a chaperone for my ODD's school band trips. It's a nice enough hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, but it's far enough away that it's not a hotel high on my list of where to stay when I'm organizing the trip myself. The walk back takes about 15 minutes, so not bad, but you pass several other motels/hotels along the way and when your feet are tired at the end of the day, it really makes you wish you were staying closer. If you take the Toy Story shuttle, it does save you some walking, but you need to stand and wait for the shuttle, then the
shuttle takes a circuitous route to the back of the Toy Story Lot, you get off in the middle of the lot and then walk to the entrance on Harbor Blvd and up the street to the front of the hotel. It was nice to sit on an air conditioned bus, but all in all I didn't feel like it saved any time and it only shaved off part of the walk.

We stayed at the Sheraton last year and took the Toy Story Shuttle. We liked it but have not stayed at any other hotels in the area since we normally stay onsite. I'd agree the shuttle doesn't save you a ton of time. However, it does save you a lot of walking. We ended up walking in most mornings then taking the shuttle back at night when we were tired.

I was going to mention the Sheraton. We've stayed there several times and like the location though we've never used the shuttle (our group has always been adults only and just walks)

I'm going to be staying at the Cortona Inn & Suites. It is supposed to be a 4 minute walk to the Toy Story Lot. Walking to the parks was estimated to take around 20 minutes. Hopefully we aren't waiting too long for the shuttles.

I've stayed at the Homewood and Hilton. Both were great, but I preferred the Homewood. The Hilton is just huge and depending on where your room is, seems like an extra mile walking to get there at the end of the day. :-)
