Hotels near T.D. Waterhouse Center???

Anyone know of a good area and any good hotels that would be within a reasonable driving distance of the T.D. Waterhouse Center in Orlando?

I have family going down for an N'Sync concert there at the end of April. They won't be going to the parks or any of the other Orlando attractions. Probably just hang out by the pool at the hotel so they would want a nice place to stay. I think that the center is pretty much downtown so where, within a reasonable drive, would be a good place or places for them to check out?

How long would it take to drive up from Disney property if they were to stay there?

I'd recommend the Westin Grand Bohemian. Great hotel, reasonably priced for the quality I think. You could probably walk to the Waterhouse Center from there.

West Grand Bohemian Hotel - Located in downtown Orlando, this upscale hotel is brand new and rents rooms in the $130 to $250 range. Caters primarily to corporate/upscale travelers.

Four Points Sheraton Orlando - Overlooking Lake Eola, with newly renovated rooms. Great area to walk around and to go paddle boating.

Holiday Inn Downtown - High rise hotel with a 50's themed diner. Probably in walking distance to the Arena.

Travelodge Downtown - Located in the shadows in the new courthouse, limited service, clean, and simple.

Marriott Downtown - Full-service hotel a stone throw away from the Arena.

Courtyard by Marriott - Newly built hotel located just off Colonial Drive.


Most of the above hotels are in proximity to the Lymmo service. Lymmo is a free public transit system in downtown Orlando. They stop at various places, including the Arena. So if you were to stay at the Grand Bohemian or Four Points, you could go to the Lymmo stop nearest the hotel and take the free bus to the Arena. Very nice way to see downtown too!
